Interview with Jack Rose

Jack Rose is a group formed in 1999, it differs from other groups by the precense very supported a keyboardist that isn't so common in a group of three members.: Re:i (Vo), Shige (Gt), Aki (Key):

The group hasn't released many albums but the songs are all very worked and very good qualities.

Their fourth album "Second Destiny" was released in last February.

Rarely present on the media scene in Europe, the group for Ajia Sound has kindly given us a little its time for some questions.

They talk a little about themselves and of their desire to make discover the world of Jack Rose to Europeans.

  Please introduce yourself :

Jack Rose :
  Jack Rose is a hard rock band active in the visual system Kei Re: i (Vo), Shige (Gt), Aki (Key), We are in the center of Japan in Tokyo.
Our music is based on many varied musics merged in digital with the main music and this gives a beautiful melody.
We had the best training, directly on the street by doing live shows!


AS :
  When did you begin music ?

Jack Rose :
  The band was formed in August 1999, Re:i and Shige were the first members.


AS :
  What made you want to make music ? or who ?

Re:i :
  Everything went off the day or depressed Shige launched the invitation.
For the musicians our admiration it's X Japan.


AS :
What are your musical influences ?

Re:i :
  Because I liked HM/ HR at the beginning, I was greatly influenced by European metal.


AS :
  Jack Rose has a very different musicality and very pleasant with the keyboard sound of Aki, which is not something very common. Your line-up has always been like that ?
And how did you meet the other group members ?

Jack Rose :
  Jack Rose originally had five active members, we are reorganized in April 2009.
For live, we are lucky to have two support members powerful on drums and bass.

  What feeling do you feel the first time on stage ?

Re:i :
  On stage you give 100% of the potential you have, you sing the best and enjoy of time.


AS :
  Your 4th album 『Second Destiny』 was released in February how it was welcomed by the public ?

Jack Rose :
  Many people were very happy with the release of this album because it took about two and a half years before leaving, and it's even more exciting when we lives the songs on the album.


AS :
  You are already come for make a concert or other things in France or Europe ?

Jack Rose :
  Unfortunately not


AS :
  What are your occupations in the coming months ?
On what kind of projects do you focus at the moment ?

Jack Rose :
  Today we want to do as soon as possible a room of 10 000 people called Nippon Budokan Hall,
as we sing in the streets or in radio broadcasts, even solo.


AS :
  Finaly, you have a message for French and Europeans who will read this interview ?

Jack Rose :
  I believe that music is always a journey beyond the borders of a country and its language.
We want our music to be loved. Please listen to our first CD.
Please call us to come to Europe and you appreciate us!
